When spills and stains happen, you don’t need to call professional cleaners or spending hours scrubbing stains. Our tips and natural carpet cleaning solution make quick work of unsightly spots and odors – without chemicals like perchloroethylene, naphthalene, butyloxy ethanol, and artificial fragrances.
Why Puracy Natural Carpet Shampoo Works so Well
Puracy Carpet & Upholstery Shampoo is a natural carpet cleaner that rapidly removes the most stubborn stains, soils, and odors from upholstered surfaces. Just like the plant-based enzymes in our Stain Remover (more about that below), this formula breaks down tough stains, revives fibers, and it’s color-safe for all types of fabric.
It’s also super-concentrated to save on water, energy, and packaging waste. Create your natural carpet cleaning solution by adding 1 oz. of cleaner to 100 oz. of water.
How to Use Puracy Carpet Cleaner with Machines
Fill the removable tank with your diluted carpet shampoo solution. Shake the tank before reattaching and shampooing. Otherwise, use an attachment to clean other upholstered surfaces.
After the first run, empty and refill the tank with clean water. Complete another cleaning cycle to remove all of the remaining cleaner and stain particles.
Pro Tip: We highly recommend using a carpet cleaning machine. If you don't own one, most hardware stores offer affordable hourly rentals.
How to Shampoo Carpet by Hand
If you don't have a carpet cleaning machine, cleaning carpet by hand is another effective option.
Soak a clean microfiber cloth in your cleaning solution and gently blot (don’t scrub!) the affected areas of your carpet. Using a second clean cloth and warm water, continue blotting to "lift" the remaining shampoo and stain particles. Repeat until the foam, stain, and/or odor are gone. Use a dry microfiber cloth to blot up any excess moisture.
Pro Tip: Leave a window open and a fan running to accelerate the drying process.
